A single supplement is a surcharge added to the safari cost of a guest traveling alone in a luxury accommodation that was designed for use by more than one person.

Comfort is key when on safari, whether you are staying in a luxury lodge or a luxury tented camp. Comfortable and naturally colored clothing are recommended. Something warm is essential for early morning game drive as well as evening activities. Sunscreen and a good hat are always a good call. It is important to note that our air charter partners have suitcase weight restrictions of 44lbs. This is on a per person basis and can be split between multiple bags.

It is important to note that we cater to all dietary requirements. Please be sure to provide Jack with any and all food allergies prior to your departure. Meals in all of our camps are made fresh and sourced locally.

All camps offer complimentary full laundry services. However, lodges do not offer laundry service for undergarments. Please note that all articles of clothing are hand washed and air dried or coal iron pressed.

Please consult your Travel Doctor. Jack is happy to lead you through this process prior to your departure. Mosquito netting as well as bug repellent will be provided at all camps.

What is the weather like in Botswana?2022-03-09T00:11:56-06:00

Climate during the winter months (June, July, and August can reach 40 Degrees F in northern Botswana and 32 Degrees F in the Kalahari and Savuti. Midday temperatures during these months can go as high as 82 Degrees F. It’s important to be able to shed layers throughout the day! Summer months can get very hot, especially October (upper 90s!). Humidity is low, as it is very dry and only when our rains come do we have moderate humidity. Rainfall: Mid-November to Mid-April are usually the rainy season.

Yes, tipping is standard in the Safari world. The recommended gratuity for a Guide/Ranger is $20.00 per day. Standard gratuity for all other staff such as trackers, butlers, lodge/camp staff is $15.00 per day. Please note that this is not required and completely up to you!

Children of all ages are welcome on Safari. We partner with lodges that cater to families and can build your day to day itinerary with the little ones in mind! Safari is a great experience for the whole family! Please note that additional information will be required for children under the age of 12 years old.

Featured activities include Game Drives, Bush Walks, Helicopter Excursions, Cultural Visits, Mokoro Excursions, and Motor Boat Excursions. We also offer Horseback Riding as well as ATV experiences upon request.

Yes, travel, medical, and CFAR (cancel for any reason) insurance are highly recommended. Cambium Safaris works directly with Seven Corners and handles all of these details for our guests.

Do I need to book my own flights?2022-05-02T18:23:17-05:00

Cambium Safaris does not book international flights. We do however book all in country flights during your Safari in Botswana. Our team is always available to offer our guidance regarding every leg of your journey. This includes international airlines, recommended hotels during layovers, and any and all documentation required. We are available to help every step of the way!
