Botswana is one of the few remaining destinations in Africa that still provides a real sense of adventure while on safari. Its expansive game parks and preserves are still largely undeveloped and untamed. Bordered on the North and West by Namibia, on the North and East by Zimbabwe, and South Africa to the South. Botswana is known as one of the last remaining truly wild places in Africa, a gem for any wildlife or safari enthusiast. The Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the world’s largest inland delta spanning some 16,000 sq kilometers. Renowned for its diversity of landscape, Botswana also features the Kalahari Desert, one of the largest and most distinctive deserts in Africa. The land teams with wildlife, from the big five to the known 577 species of birds, attracting the novice safari goers right through to the specialists.

Explore Botswana with Cambium
Botswana is one of the few remaining destinations in Africa that still provides a real sense of adventure while on safari. It’s expansive game parks and preserves are still largely undeveloped and untamed. Bordered on the north and west by Namibia, on the north and east by Zimbabwe, and South Africa to the South. Its territory consists almost entirely of a broad, flat, arid, subtropical plateau, though there are hills in the eastern part of the country. Botswana is known as one of the last remaining “wild places” in Africa, a gem for any wildlife or safari enthusiast. Not only does it have the Okavango Delta, one of the world’s largest inland delta’s but it also has the Kalahari Desert, one of the largest and most characteristic deserts in Africa. The land teams with wildlife, from the big five to the known 577 species of birds, attracting the novice safari goers right through to the specialists.
Cambium or Cambia are the veins in a tree or plant that transport the energy produced by leaves through photosynthesis down to the roots, and all of the water absorbed through the roots by active absorption up to the leaves. Without the Cambium layer, a tree or plant cannot survive. Our guided wilderness experiences are about reconnecting to the earth, each other, and ourselves. We offer our guests the opportunity to experience this incredible wilderness in an array of bespoke styles, ranging from your classic game drives, plying the veins of the Delta in a traditional mokoro, and tracking both predator and prey on morning and afternoon bush walks.
